wen u r filling the academic qualifications u have to necessary fill the graduation column otherwise they will not accept ur appln. so this is wat is to be done
for graduation write
December, 2008

for post graduation write
May, 2009

after u submit ur resume there is next page for uploading ur CVso kindly upload ur CV as per the old format
as there were many objections to the new format we shall be sticking to the old format
kindly note the following

  1. limit ur CV upto 2 pages if it is diff... which i presuming it will be :) max limit is 3 pages it shud in no way exceed tat
  2. the place for address box n everything on the last page kindly delete tat.it is mostly a repition.

Additional information!

in the mail tat i sent u guys... they are talkin abt excel sheet u don have to worry abt tat ... it has to be filled by the CCR members
guys there is option of graduation and PG in the area concerning academic information... select the PG area and fill in the details bcuz if u select the graduation area u cannot select the passing out year as 2009. tat option is not available... so fill in the detAILS under the PG area..... i spoke to the ppl in ICICI they asked me to do that this is an internal error and if u don submit in the PG area ur appln might get rejected so PLZ BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN U ARE FILLING UP YOUR DETAILS !!!!!!! they said they will make the changes internally so once wen u get ur login id then they will give u an option to change it for contact number give the CCR number and the personal number give ur mobile number okif u have any further clarification plz let me kno as of now these are the ppl who have shown interest in applying for ICICI:Shyama KRaaga RJennisMukeshArunParvathy VAngely AAnn Thaniaif ur name is not in the list it means ur confirmation has nt yet been receieved by CCR so kindly mail ur confirmationall those reading this mail plz infrm ur friends who are interested in ICICI plz b fast the deadline is 25th December, 2008 Regards CCR-- 09895768843Angely-- 09811620571

hey guys ......ICICI has registered itself for recruitment.... they wont be personally coming down they will be conducting the recruitment through video conferencing.... so i will be mailing ppl the details to u guys!!! plz.... send me the confirmation of the mails plz....! so i can be sure... the details wud be put on the blogspot.... so check tat out... n those who have nt recieved it... plz others pass it onto them... incase they have nt got it....

Status on Recruitment

ok guys here is the current status on recruitment:
1. Amarchand
they are not coming for recruitment... even if they are planning to recruit it wud not b in january... we shall be in constant touch with them. so if they plan to recruit we will know and invite them.. currently trying for an option of PPO if possible.
2. Trilegal
The Bombay branch has decided not to recruit, and the Bangalore branch we are talkin to them.. they are not likely to take for any recruitment but then we aretrying to talk to them for the students would had interned their before.
3. Quislex
they wil be intimating the names of the students who have qualified for the next stage of the recruit process on 18th December. so all u guys who wrote the exam best of luck!
4. Ashira Law Associates
ok... so this is a new entry.. this is a small firm basedin bangalore... we spoke to these guys they are interested in recruiting ... they would be mailing us their company profile so tat means we will get their offer package and everything... it will be published on orkut plus the blogspot as soon as we get it... they wud try comin in person... so all those students interested after going throough the company profile mail us let us know ur confirmation ok...
5. Satyam Computers
they have shown interest in recruiting students from our coll... spoke to them.. they wud prefer doing a VC (Video Conferencing) so they wont be coming down.... waiting for a final confirmation from them6. ICICI BankICICI wants to recruit ... but there are no formal confirmations we are still trying to speak to them... so we will have to wait and see....So as of now this is the update.....

as i was saying.....guys if u have any clarifications jus fire away....n guys we are trying our level best to get as many ppl as possible... hope we are able to get some more positive responses.... hope we can pull it off... if u guys have any personal contacts that we can use for our recruitment plz let us kno.... we need all the info we can get n use it... so guys let us kno....we are contacting other ppl... like AZB so anything on tat n i shall inform u guys....n another thing... limit ur CVs to 2 pages and we still need a lot more suggestions on the CVs... so guys plz contribute fast...those students who dont have orkut plz inform them...this same info we willput in the blogspot and mail u guys...if there is anything else jus lemme know...ma Del no is 9811620571 ok... guys ... hoping to b bak with more positive news!!!!

Internal Rules for Campus Recruitment

Internal Rules for Campus Recruitment



Motto of the CCR- Recruitment for Maximum Number of Students

All the rules have been framed keeping this motto in mind.


1. Only students who have registered with the CCR would be allowed to sit for the campus recruitment process.

2. Definitions:

• Offer Package - Includes the general details regarding Pay-Package along with allowances, if any, and other payment and work related details, but may not include the Place of Work, or other related matters.
• Pre-Placement Talks - Include the Talks/Discussions conducted by a prospective recruiter prior to the final interview. This shall also include any pre-interview filtering or short-listing process initiated by the recruiter, including group-discussions, interviews etc.

3. The campus placement is scheduled to take place from the 7th to 14th of January, 2008

4. The CCR would also be facilitating off campus placements which shall include telephonic interviews, video conferencing [*] etc.

5. The email address for internal communication shall be placement.nuals@gmail.com.

6. All placements related correspondence should be made to this aforementioned email address by students.

7. The CCR would first be contacting the recruiters and if the recruiters show interest, they would be requested to mention/explain their requirements and offer package on registration to enable the students to make appropriate choices.

8. The recruiter may also be requested to conduct a “pre-placement talk”(PPT) on any date from 15th November – 31st December 2007 [**], even for enabling a preliminary interaction. All the students interested in that recruiter must be present for the PPT’s. Students failing to do so shall not be allowed to attend the rest of the recruitment process of that particular recruiter.

9. The students interested, having been informed of the criteria required by each recruiter, shall inform the CCR and their CVs will be forwarded to the respective recruiters. The short-listing of the students shall be done by the recruiter and the CCR shall be informed of the results of the same.

10. A student shall be allowed to have their CV's sent to a maximum of 5 recruiters, or 30% of the number of the recruiters, which ever shall be greater (this is a tentative number, subject to revision by the CCR, in order to provide opportunities to maximum number of students).

Provided, attending a PPT shall not be counted as exhaustion of a chance of the student attending. However, in the course of the PPT, if any selection/screening/interview process is initiated by the recruiter, or any other act of short-listing is initiated by the recruiter, the same shall be counted as a chance from among the 5.

11. If the candidate is not short-listed by the recruiter in any of the 5 applications he has made, then he can continue to have his CV sent till he is short-listed.


12. The student would be allowed to sit for a maximum of 3 final interviews (subject to change by the CCR at anytime, in order to provide opportunity to maximum number of students).

13. Final interview would consist only of the last interviews prior to placement and would not include preliminary interviews, if any.

14. During the final interview if the recruiter offers you a job and the candidate accepts the same, he would be out of the recruitment process. However, the acceptance of the offer by the candidate to the recruiter can be made only through the CCR.


Alternate rule

RULE 14(1):- If the offer package made by the recruiter is in clear terms before the candidate attends the interview, the candidates shall sign an agreement with the CCR which would say that if a job offer is made to them they will accept it.. In case of dishonoring of the agreement, the candidate shall be out of the recruitment process.

RULE 14(2):- If the offer package made by the recruiter is not in clear terms, the candidate will be permitted to reject the same, and shall not be out of the recruitment process by doing so. Rule 12 shall continue to apply to him/her. The candidate shall be given an hour’s time to make a decision. It is also expected that the candidate would tell the recruiter that he/she requires 24 hours to think about the offer.


15. If it so happens that a recruiter would have no one to interview as all the students short listed by him have already been selected by then, the CCR would still request the students to sit for the interview just to maintain the relation between the institution and the recruiter.


16. The offer at that stage would not be considered under any circumstances.


17. Students who have already got offers other than those made available by the CCR are bound to bring the same to the notice of the CCR.


18. The students who have accepted offers from outside shall be deemed to be out of the campus recruitment process from the moment he/she accepts the outside offer.


19. For any further doubts or clarification please contact the CCR.


20. Any rule mentioned above is subject to change by CCR, for providing recruitment for maximum number of students.

[*] The CCR may arrange the facility for Video Conferencing with companies. The candidates concerned, on notification, shall meet any extra cost incurred by the CCR.

[**] The CCR may extend the Pre-Placement Talks to 5 January 2008, if the need so arises.
